A couple shoot is the perfect way to capture yourselves as a soon-to-be-wed couple. It will help you feel more prepared for your big day and gives you a chance to get comfortable with me as your photographer and in front of the camera. A number of my clients opt for an engagement session to fulfil a specific purpose. Sometimes it's for 'Save the Date' cards, photos to be displayed at a wedding reception, or even to be incorporated into the wedding website.
The first thing you need to consider is where you want your photography location to be. I would suggest creating a moodboard to get the ball rolling. Love it or hate it, I have to say Instagram is one of the best places to find incredible locations, especially by using the search bar to pinpoint specific places. Hashtags can also be useful if you can find the right ones. I would always suggest considering your hometown first, so why not choose a place you visit often, however make sure it's a place that represents your personality too. I’m happy to give you as little or as much direction as you would like for poses and ideas. I am also happy to suggest locations depending on what kind of photoshoot you would like. At the end of it all, you'll receive some breathtakingly lovely pictures from your couple shoot, and be perfectly prepared to feel confident and look even more fabulous on your wedding day.
